The Commander learns that Governor Paterson will not be attending, as previously planned, a town hall style gathering in Bed Stuy to answer questions from residents. Robinson had prepared a package for the governor with the hopes of seeking state funding for the organization.  When asked about the relevance of the Corps as emergency care and social services improve in his rapidly-changing neighborhood, the Commander replied: "If one person dies because of a lack of emergency service, that is one too many."
